Last Week

Even the cows use the pedestrian walk on the highway

We are getting ready to go back home. This is a time when we reflect on the past weeks and praise the Lord for his many blessings.

Praises:

  • We stayed healthy the entire time here
  • No mosquito bites!!!
  • We were here at key times when some of the families were going through crisis. The Lord used us to counsel and encourage
  • Bible studies went well. The Holy Spirit is working in the lives of a few couples
  • It seems that the family back home did well while we were gone
  • The car here held up
  • No accidents on the road
Last Saturday we had the last couples bible study. We had a good discussion about real faith. Then we had a kissing contest and a birthday party. Yesterday we had Sunday School where we talk about priorities (Mary and Martha), and last night we had dinner at Walter and Yesenia's
house, as well as the last bible study. I just love to see how the Holy Spirit brings the Word to life in their minds! We plan to continue all these bibles studies on the next trip.

Prayer requests:
  • Pray for Christian and Daniela's daughter, Danira, who is six years old and has some kind of intestinal blockage. She has an MRI scheduled for May 17th (social medicine here) at Children's Hospital in the capital. We prayed over her yesterday. May the Lord heal her completely.
  • Continue to pray for the right pastoral couple for this town
  • Pray that all these young Christians will remain strong in their faith
  • Pray for traveling mercies for us on Wednesday
Thank you for your prayers, We are convinced that we couldn't do any of this without your support!
