We are here!

Hello, Everybody!

We have arrived at the beach. Thank you for your prayers! We had a great trip, without delays or difficulties. They did not open our suitcases in customs; in fact, they did not check anybody. We all put our luggage through the x-ray machine, but they just took our declaration forms and waved everybody through. PRAISE THE LORD!

We got up late and  had our traditional pancake breakfast. There were a couple of things not working; for example, we couldn't get the water heater to work until John just tried the reset button, and voila! The universal remote control for our TV did not work either: enter the reset button again! Those of you who know how "handy" John is, should be impressed. The air conditioning upstairs is not working, but help is on the way. Once we get the house in order, we will be all set to start our life here. We already have guests tonight for dinner: Sergio and Luis Carlos will stop by after work.
