Mother's Day

This is a letter from the worker who is taking over the ministry:

"The mother's day event went well, quite a few women showed up as well as lots of kids. The kids played games and did a craft with a photo as a gift for their mom. The women painted on potholders and had a testimony/talk/prayer time with a woman from the Santa Cruz church. Several people from that church where there to help out. We had to cancel the movie because the person bringing the projector wasn't able to make it. It wasn't without the usual complications and spiritual warfare but it was a successful event and it was neat for my pastors and my mom to see and participate in the work we are doing there.
Please pray about the situation with the churches involved; it's gotten complicated and leaves us and the people in town kind of in the middle. Also pray for the next event we have scheduled for September 13,14 we will have 6 missionaries from CFCI San Jose come to give the women all day intensive classes on 5 different types of crafts and sewing. The idea is that they learn something they may be able to sell for extra income as well as a way to form relationships and bring them to Christ."

Please continue to pray for this town.
