English Club

We had fun today! Since we were only going to be here for one English class, we decided to bring presents, and have a party. We got T-shirts for everybody, including our adult helpers. We had big suckers (spelling?), soccer balls, and other presents for everybody. Here are some pictures.

This is the entire group with our brand-new T-shirts.

They loved their suckers!

This is the Town Council. They were meeting at the same time as our club, since we had suckers left over, we gave them to them. This is the group that grants us permission to use the Town Hall. None of them is saved. They let us use it because they see that we are doing something positive for the community, including bringing Christian movies.

Our friend, Robby, was there also. We wanted him to see the Club, and get acquainted with the people. He is going to start a men's Bible study on Monday in the house of Gabriel, a single man who is a Christian. Please pray for him and his wife. They are the newlywed couple that I have mentioned before. Robby's wife's name is Natalie, and she is from Costa Rica. Robby is American, but his father is from India. His father teaches at Dallas Theological Seminary. Natalie is a nutritionist.

Tomorrow is our last day here. We are going out to dinner with a single woman who works here and who is seeking. More about her tomorrow. Keep praying!
