Finally Home

We are home after 25 hours of travel. This was certainly a trip. We were in three different countries, with three different time zones. We took 10 planes, traveling 10,000 miles, four times the width of the US. We worked in Chile with three different churches. I spoke 8 times, and John, three times, and he went to jail.

Buenos Aires is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We had a tour of the city one day. The next day we walked to different spots we liked using a map of the city. We also went to a dinner and tango show. It was great. Dinner started at 9:00 pm; the show went from 10:00 to 12:00. It was awesome. Next day we walked so more, had lunch at La Chacra restaurant, and left for the airport at 4:00 pm.

Argentineans are the number one comsumers of beef in the world. This picture is from a fast food place at the mall. The steak was delicious. One cannot have a bad steak in Argentina.

Our time there was short, but we tried to see as much as we could of the city and the people. It was brief, but fun.

I want to thank all of you who have been praying for us these five weeks. The Lord heard your prayers. We were safe everywhere, and the Lord blessed us by showing us how He is at work all over the world. We made many new friends and will never forget this wonderful opportunity that the Lord allowed us to have.

We will be back at the beach this August, Lord willing. Until then...
