Our First Sunset

Last night we walked to "Playa Bonita" to watch the sunset. It is one of our favorite things to do here.

This morning we walked to Playa Avellanas to have our fruit shake on the beach. We met two brothers and their mother. The boys recognized us immediately and gave each one of us a kiss. I don't know why the boys were not in school. There were a few locals on the beach. A man was riding a horse with a boogie board on his back. The waves were calmed today as the tide was starting to recede. We chatted with the restaurant manager. He told us that they close during Easter vacation because there are too many tourist! As we walked back we pondered on the different world view. Tonight we are going to visit one of the families we are friends with here. John just left to meet the tennis pro who is a Christian. Little by little we will fall into our routine here.
